Asylum - Final Garment Project (Y1)

Final First Year Project

Colour Palette & Fabric design detail

Offering mysterious colour palette. Dark gloomy effect of black, grey and white, on the surface of fabric brings distress and grungy effects. Including variety of bright colours that took part on primary research. The garments will have white bold look, with bright colours as a design detail to stand out. Taking this palette through the autumn and winter collection, for the final part. Black and grey enhance the feeling of emotionally distress fabrics, associated with the psychological story of asylum. The shade of black, grey to white brings a surprise twist of how dark shade of colour can go to lighter colours. This shows how a person can go survive through emotional psychological path.
